June, 1864: Attached to District of Northeast Arkansas, Dept. of Arkansas.
October, 1864: District of the Frontier, 7th Army Corps.


January 1-30, 1864: Operations in Northeast Arkansas.
January 19: Lunenburg (Detachment).
February 9: Morgan’s Mills, Spring River, White County.
February 19: Waugh’s Farm, near Batesville.
February 25: Scout from Batesville.
May 18: At Clarksville.
May 18, duty until July 21: Moved to Fort Smith.
July 21, duty until October: Moved to Little Rock.
October 28, 1864: Organization not completed and Regiment transferred to 2nd Arkansas Infantry.


4th Regiment Infantry

December 2, 1863: Organized at Devall’s Bluff, Little Rock and Helena, Ark.
March, 1864, duty at Helena: Attached to District of Eastern Arkansas, 7th Corps, Dept. of Arkansas.

March 11, 1864: Designation of Regiment changed to 57th U.S. Colored Troops.
